"Cinema Paradiso", but I'll admit to having seen it numerous times before Netflix came about.Reply

Tried Lily but it didn't work for me.
Saw Season 1 of Sherlock and liked the first episode. The 2nd was fantasy run amok and the 3rd only so-so. Just too fantastic if you ask me.
Haven't seen the other 2 series. Heard good things about Downton Abbey but have not watched any as yet.Reply

I'm in the US right now, playing a little golf, enjoying the sunshine..
Netflix is so much better down here. You have a lot of programs that aren't available in Canada.
Can't believe that Archer is available. It's very funny, though you do have to like animated programs.

I really enjoyed Ip Man - there's a little bit of pro China propaganda, but the fight scenes are excellent. Amazing choreography, and a pretty good story to boot!
Withnail and I is an old favourite of mine, but you have to be a fan of quirky, dark, British comedies. Not for everyone, but if it's for you, you'll be delighted by it..
If you're willing to go back to the 'oldies', Max Dugan Returns is a really fun movie. Excellent script, great actors, and you can't help but to feel good at the end. Good for the whole family...
Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai is another hidden gem.

"Let me In"... it is about a child vampire. I really liked it. There is also a foreign version of exactly the same movie, I think it is called "Let the right one in".
I've watched both and the American one was better, IMO.
