Just the thing for the instruction addict?
Book for $20, DVD set for $100...
Watch Trackman in action...
GASP Systems Force Plate technology precisely measures weight shift throughout the golf swing...
AMM 3D-Golf™ high-‐speed, full-‐body motion tracking system that documents the biomechanics of the swing. The output provides a clear, science-based picture of a swing’s capabilities and limitations...
Protracer technology...
Watching the Stack & Tilt® Swing being demonstrated by some of the world's best players...
But...if it's legit, why does the website say, "Big-name pros like Mike Weir, and Aaron Baddeley are already converts" ... when they have dumped S&T?
Heh-heh, buy and report back. http://stackandtiltgolfswing.com/dvdoffer/
It says "pre-orders" are expected to ship 4/2012.

Why don't you and George both buy it? Then you can both argue about what sucked the most about it.

"Why don't you and George both buy it?"

--My only temptation would be to find out what they say about the "new ball-flight" laws.
The idea of tilting your torso toward the target on the takeaway is enough to scare me off.
This is scary too, from Golf Digest, "The player has to feel as if he's jumping up as the club comes down." There might be something to it, but so far the written descriptions don't seem to be that good.
I'll wait for the 30-day free trial.

Actually, I do not believe one tilts towards the target - it is the spine remaining centered.
But since August, determined to go to a centered pivot swing, I've read the book several times, studied many videos on youtube, including those of golf evolution, and while work gets in the way of progress - my ball striking in all phases has vastly improved, as has my driving; and all of that without the back pain I would have after a session with what other gurus are teaching.
There is nothing novel with S&T, other than the label. They claim to have found what is common ground in great golfers and placed those elements into the swing - some have said, it's like TGM as a base with additional elements, or a MORAD mid iron swing.
Some people take elements of S&T and implement them into the swing -
As to the jump, normal Joe's won't do a big or even a little jump. It's a way to gain more speed at the last moment and catapult the ball. But normal Joe's can feed off the pressure of the ground to gain some speed while retaining balance.
good luck.

I took a lot of grief on here @ 18 months ago for switching. Yikes, lots of hurt feelings from people who have no interest in S+T. But my index has gone from an 18 to a 9.7 in that time - so who am I to complain.
Also interesting that no announcers want to talk about Sean Foley as a S+T instructor - but they talk about every S+T concept without calling it what it is. I dont know, how are his guys doing so far this year...?
When I was first starting out I found the golf evolution stuff to be really good.

Glad it works for you. There isn't a "method" that works for me, across-the-board. I have taken some ideas/thoughts from a few different teachers. Heck, the biggest thing, so far, this season is how I establish my left hand grip before moving into address, and that was modified based on a YouTube video I saw.
Is there a part of S&T that you've had difficulty implementing?

In the beginning I had a lot of trouble with my driver/3w doing what they wanted with those clubs - did not work for me at all. So I have a much more "normal" driver swing which works great for me. Then more of a stacked iron swing that really lets me compress the ball.
Yeah I always say, works for me, may or may not work for you. But its like a belly putter, dont try it once and expect it to work, it takes a lot of time to implement something completely new.

Thanks for your post.
I tried Haney, Hardy, TGM -- it started to click with TGM, but still, Plummer and Bennett assisted with many pieces to supplement what I had learned with TGM.
As to the driver and iron swings -- golf evolution had a great video on adjustments to make with the driver. After I found another golf evolution video dealing with the secondary axis tilt (throwing a boulder high to slide and turn), it helped the remainder of the swing with all clubs.
I think the golf evolution guys are coming out with a DVD series they call "The Five Keys." It's a way to simplify the swing into five major components.

--As I recall, their website says that P&B started with TGM.
I think some of their concepts are good, but the hang-up is the words. I probably do a lot of what they say, but I think about it differently.
