Long time coming and you guys deserve to party it up tonight.

A good well played game that did not go our way unfortunately but certainly happy to see honorary Indiana boy Drew Brees get a ring.

Tony, Hax, and any of you other Saint fans CONGRATS and enjoy it.

Winning one of these is a beautiful thing if you are a serious football fan.

AND WE GET TO DRAFT 1 PICK AHEAD OF YOU MWAHAHA

Well done for real!

Very classy. It was a great game in pretty much very way. By and large very clean and well played with only one costly mistake made between the two teams. The throw Manning made rolling to his right to Clark is the best throw I have ever seen a QB make.

The game was over before the interception

Even if we had scored to tie it up Brees would have had 2-3 minutes and only need a FG to win.

Ballgame

Heck of a year... accomplished more than I expected really but the Saints were just meant to take it home I think.

Two puzzling but not surprising coaching decisions on our side

Going ultra conservative at the end of the 1st half and not even trying to score and having Stover try the long FG... he does not have that kind of leg and did not kick anything 40+ all year let alone 50+ off grass

Payton definitely was the better coach tonight.

I agree, the pic-6 thrown by PM in the 4th quarter with about 5 minutes to go with the Colts driving to tie the game had no impact on the outcome of the game. The game was over after the coin flip.

The single biggest play was 85 dropping a third down pass in the second quarter. The momentum shift can be traced back to that play.

Why even rush Brees from the inside? The Colts needed a push with hands up in the passing lanes...he picked them apart because the throws were uncontested..imo. The better coached team won.

I actually thought the Colts would win it all this year because of the way they won games in the regular season. Great game to watch though. About the only real boneheaded stuff was a few of the dropped passes by recievers that were on the money.

As a life-long Falcons fan, I must say that it was bitter sweet watching our biggest rivals win last night. But i know the football suffering they have endured and am happy to see their joy.

Congrats to the Saints, their fans and the city of New Orleans.

Had Indy tied the game on that drive their defense wasn't gonna stop Brees

They were just better last night.

but had indy tied the game, brees would have broken brady's 32 completion in the SB record, rather than just tie it. you guys failed us!

Agree

Garcon's drop was critical.

AS I watched the game I was wondering about your reaction. Having seen the Pats, Red Sox and Celtics all win in the last decade I was reminded how much easier losing the big one is after you've won one. All those who want to hate on Manning should understand how great he really is. He is a once in a generation Q.B. The fact that we have 2 of them (Brady) now is extraordinary. The Saints played better and deserved to win. But the Fillies, and old Five Head, had a great year, and they're so young they'll be back. Now tell Pay-a Ton he has enough money so he can :< :< stop making all those lame commercials !! B-) B-) ;-))

Thanks!

It was a great game. hard played, clean and no controversial calls made by the refs.

At first it didn't look like we would be able to stop Addai and Dallas Clark. Peyton was on his game, he played great except for the one mistake that resulted in the interception.

Drew and Peyton were both sharp. Brees was exceptional last night.
Garrett Hartley our young FG kicker, out kicked your old veteran Stover.
Hartley was the key in the Saints winning and one could easily make a case for him being the MVP. He made 3 FG all over 40 yds. That was huge.

Coach Payton gambled and it paid off. Imagine what would have happened had the Colts recovered, different outcome possibly.

Only two plays were the difference in winning and losing.

No question that the two best teams were playing in teh Super Bowl.

How about a rematch next season?

My early predictions for next seasons AFC / NFC Championship games
Chargers - Colts
Saints - Cowboys

I'd like the see the Saints pick up a power short-yardage back in teh draft. A guy that can pick up two yards when you need one yard.

Stover was only on our Roster due to a season ending injury to Adam Vinatieri.

But Garret definitely kicked super.

I KNEW you guys would have a special teams advantage.
